ELECTRICIAN (SEASONAL)
The successful candidate among other duties will be responsible for the following:
- Carrying out maintenance repairs and new installations in the plant and ancillary equipment, offices and warehouses according to required standards.
- Ensuring plant equipment availability by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on various types of electrical equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring safe and effective operation of all plant equipment and machinery through monitoring and adjustment.
- Performing other duties from time to time as instructed by superiors.
REQUIREMENTS
- Malawi School Certificate of Education.
- Grade 1 National Trade Test Certificate in relevant Electrical field or Advanced
- Craft Certificate or Advanced TEVET Level 3.
- Two years’ experience working with motors, Variable Speed Drives and different types of motor starters.
- Basic Computer Skills.
