A fast-growing Retail Food Company Ekhaya Farms Foods Limited seeks to recruit suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancies in its operations.
RETAIL OPERATIONS OFFICER
A key position tenable at its Head Office and reporting to the Group Operations Manager. The successful candidate shall oversee all the business operations of the current and to be opened stores with the focus on the 5S’s (Stock, Space, Staff, Standards and Systems). The person will also be responsible for developing and executing the Food Retail business plan.
Duties and responsibilities
- Achieve operational objectives by preparing and completing action plans, implementing quality, and customer service standards.
- Maximise profitability of all the Stores by working hand in hand with Store Managers to analyse sales reports and trends, forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective measures.
- Monitor Competition by gathering market intelligence on all 4Ps, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
- Coordinate with Store Managers on instore merchandising, displays, promotions and signage.
- Carry out ad hoc audits.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
Required Academic Qualifications and Skills;
- Minimum First degree in any business-related field, Retail Management from a reputable and accredited institution.
- 4-5 years’ experience in progressively responsible positions in the FMCG environment. Experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
- Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
