Stores Officer Full Time

Chikho Mponela is an International Hotel located at Mponela in Dowa District. Chikho Hotel is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to be considered for the position of Stores Officer.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Stores officer will be responsible for;

• Checking inventory records for accuracy.
• keeping records and preparing any necessary documentation. Ordering or requesting supplies and maintaining suitable inventory and deliveries for accuracy.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments.
• Evaluating and reporting stores products to superiors in timely manner.
• Coordinating logistical processes and supervising store daily activities.
• Coordinating receipts, storage and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Compiling reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required of a Stores Officer:

• Diploma in Logistics and supply chain management, Procurement, Business Administration or
• Finance. Degree holders will have an added advantage
• Must be organized and punctual.
• Attentive to details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in Hotel Master Sage 50 skills an added advantage
• Well-presented and professional.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• At least Three years’ experience working in a busy environment.
