TV and Radio Station Officer Full Time

Purpose of the job

• To oversee the business, technical, and administrative aspects of UNIMA’s TV and Radio station.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing strategic business leadership to the station;
• Act as an executive producer of programmes and key marketer;
• Supervise and coordinate the schedules, workflow, and responsibilities of various departments;
• Training, and evaluating employees,  as  well as providing communication between departments and other human resource functions;
• Responsible for the success and profitability of the station;
• Working with finance department to track purchases, cash flow, and profits;
• Preparing budget and maintaining accountability;
• Developing and implementing fund-raising initiatives;
• Proficient technical knowledge to understand the operations of all station equipment.
• Compliance with broadcasting regulations and other laws;
• Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans;

Education Qualification and Experience

• Master’s and bachelors’ degree in a relevant field from a institution accredited or recognized under the National Council of Higher Education Act and a professional qualification on a relevant field.
• 5 years’ experience at senior management level
