Positions reporting to the job holder: None
The ERO Officer reports directly to the Program Director and has the overall responsibility to train communities and monitor the application of agroecological techniques (soil conservation, agroforestry, intensive organic agriculture, conservative agriculture, and soil fertilization) and environmental protection. The core functions of the position are the Training staff and communities on the Environment Core Curriculum (ECC) and development of education-training modules, program planning, implementation, and reporting and designing of innovative environmental restoration and value chain development.
The successful candidates shall be offered a negotiated performance-related contract for a period of two years, with an attractive salary and benefits package commensurate with the seniority of the position.
