M&E Data Entry Assistant (3 Positions) Short-Term

BACKGROUND:

The Feed the Future Malawi Growth Poles Activity overall goal is to accelerate environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable, resilient, and more inclusive wealth generation in Malawi by mobilizing rural-based private sector investments
and partnerships with anchor firms and their surrounding communities, smallholder organizations, cooperatives, and MSMEs in a growth pole approach, with a focus on ensuring benefits are inclusive of smallholders, youth, and women.

Growth Poles Activity would like to fill the following positions:

M&E DATA ENTRY ASSISTANT –Three positions (Short-term)

The M&E Data Entry Assistant will be responsible for data entry and managing and securely storing data.

Duty Station : Lilongwe, Malawi Reporting to : M & E Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct data entry in accordance with data quality assurance protocols.
• Assist with data storage and ensure data security, privacy and organization.
• Assist with data collection in the field and provide other assistance to the M&E team as
  required.
• Assist the M&E Specialist with the design and piloting of data collection tools.
• Assist the M&E team in the implementation of the Feed the Future Ag Div Activity M&E
  system.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting M&E data entry.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Agribusiness, Geography, Natural Resource Management, economics or a related field.
• The ability to enter data into Excel and other programs quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of basic statistics, how to apply statistics, and the ability to conduct basic
  statistical analysis.
• Experience with MIS, mobile and GIS applications preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
