To develop and implement marketing and business development strategies and programs to promote
the Company’s financial and commercial viability and business growth
1. Conducting research on Agricultural commodity marketing to secure competitive advantage for AL
2. Planning, directing and overseeing marketing and business development initiatives
3. Developing marketing and business proposals.
4. Continuously reviewing changes in the Market, Consumer trends, the activities of competitors and
adjusting the Market plan if necessary
5. Advising Management on the pricing of Agricultural commodities
6. Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships and guide the Company accordingly
7. Initiating, developing and reviewing marketing and business development plans, strategies and
practices
8. Managing the branding of AL offices and exhibitions to showcase AL’s products and services
in order to enhance Company’s visibility
9. Negotiating with customers for bulk sales
10. Developing strategies of convincing and motivating staff in AL to perform at their most
profitable level; and the customers to recognize and choose AL
11. Participating in the development and negotiations of business and marketing contracts and
agreements with customers and partners
12. Guiding the Marketing and Business Development Team on day to day activities and appraising their performance
13. Preparing and administering Annual Marketing and Business Development Division Budget
14. Compiling and submitting periodic reports
