To develop and recommend to management, human resources policies and practices which meet the
objectives of the Company and ensure effective application of the policies and procedures.
1. Planning, formulating, implementing and evaluating HR and administration policies and
procedures in liaison with other departmental heads
2. Participating in development and review of human resource and administrative policies and
procedures
3. Interpreting human resource and administrative policies, Terms and Conditions of Service and
related regulations.
4. Planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating staff development programmes.
5. Managing the utilization and maintenance of assets and facilities
6. Managing the employment cycle
7. Developing and implement staff orientation and induction programmes.
8. Maintaining Management Information Systems and HR database.
9. Designing and implementing performance management system
10. Providing counseling services to members of staff
11. Controlling the staff establishment ensuring that recruitment, deployment and promotions are
based on authorized establishment
12. Providing secretarial service to Board committees as delegated
13. Preparing periodic reports
