Agency Operations Manager Full Time

Agency Operations Manager, Salima

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be Assist the Agency Manager in day to day Agency operations while ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to all customers on a daily basis. The job holder will also be responsible for business development, profitability and productivity of the Agency. This position is grade 4a of the bank’s structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of risks through strict compliance with operational guidelines and procedures.
• Management of customer queries and complaints.
• Authorisation of high value cheque encashment, outward clearances and overdrawn accounts.
• Management of the account opening and closing process.
• Management of proper accounting and book keeping for the branch.
• Provision of guidance and leadership to a team of staff at the branch.
• Cross-selling products and services to new and existing customers.
• Staff management.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least Diploma in Banking or Business Management from a reputable institution.
• A seasoned banker with over 5 years of practical branch banking experience.
• Practical understanding of the operational risk and control environment within branch banking.
• Exposure in customer service and sales roles will be an added advantage.
