Sigelege Hotels is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill in its existing vacant positions as follows:

HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager. the successful candidate
will, among others, be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing Human Resource Policies and Procedures aligned to best practices.
• Assisting with day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties.
• Reviewing structures and Job descriptions aligned to business strategy.
• Implementing succession plans, employee retention plans and strategies for high performing team members.
• Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
• Processing, documenting and preparing reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations)
• Coordinating Learning and Development Human Resourceprojects (leaming and development matrix, surveys, employee engagement).
• Implementing and monitoring of the motor vehicle policy and procedures.
• Coordinates hiring and on boarding processes.
• Handling of Industrial Relations issues – Grievance and Disciplinary issues in line with company procedure and existing labour statutes.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES/QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with existing labour Laws
• Good communication skills
• Holder of Bachelor degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Business Administration from well recognized
• Institution plus 5 years’ experience in similar capacity.
